Separate shipping and handling taxability

Shipping is one of the most common sources of over- and under-collection. Getting it right per state protects your margins and your filings.

Zamp now supports separate taxability for shipping, handling, and combined shipping and handling charges, following each state's rules. In California, for example, handling can be taxable while shipping is not.

Transactions can specify which charges apply, and the transaction details view shows each component and how it was taxed.
